Weightloss Journey Day 11

Tennis was okay today only me and mummy played today because everyone else couldn't make it. It had rained that night so the court was slippery so I didn't get a proper sweat/workout was i dnt wanna run too much and hut myself. Luckily my toes are feeling a little better so praise the Lord! Well I'm off to bed so I can wake up early for tennis tomorrow, as i am not a morning person.

Weightloss Journey Day 10

So my toes still hurt but I had a great workout at tennis today, not as much as yesterday as not everyone was here. Four of us played today so we mostly volleyed and practiced our serving and the things the coach taught us yesterday. We played from 8:45-11:00am and had a 10minute break to eat a banana and have some water. Which is a good fruit to eat during of after playing. Well i must admit i had not eaten a banana in a very long time (weeks) before last week, so tennis has been good.

So now I am home I have and a hot shower and am soaking my feet as my toes are still hurting. But I really thing the boiling hot water is helping a little. I think if I do this each day after I playing for a while my feet will feel a lot better. But I may have to get a pedicure when my feet stop hurting next week cause I cant have nobody touching my feet right now.

Well this week I have tennis tomorrow, Tuesday and Wednesday. Cause I have two appointments on Thursday and Friday when we usually play so I cannot make it. So now I just applied so deep heat to my shoulder and hope the pain goes away. Well you know what they say, "No pain, no gain!!!"

Weightloss Journey Day 9

I feel amazing and totally rejuvenated....exercise is just great when playing a sport. It's like I was not feeling any pain at all when i was playing but I know when I wake up in the morning I will be in pain. Seriously it is my third time playing and i am pained up.....my feet (toes) hurt especially but I'm sure it will wear off in time (i hope). 

So I played from 8:45am-12:345pm with a few breaks but it was good workout session. So we played and towards the end we got some coaching from a Tennis Coach who was at the park (downhill park, tottenhm). He was very helpful and I learn't a lot which helped my technique incredibly. I learn how to do a backstroke (as I was rubbish at it) and worked on my serve, which I've been told I'm a natural at.
Well I am a sports girl, always have been from back in school. I secondary I play netball which I loved and was totally great at it. I also did shot put on sports days and ran a little (was okay at that). Sports are a great way to exercise have fun and meet new people. I think I like the element of being in a TEAM, something I really miss. Well the people I play with are great and like to play very competitively (some more than others :) lol) but it pushed you to play harder, develop your skill and have so much fun. I tell you we laugh as much as we play always enjoyable.

So tomorrow  I will play again as I wanna keep consistency before my monthly comes along and I don't feel like playing.

Weightloss Journey Day 8

So I have been away for a while with the exercise but I'm back now and have decided only to write when i actually do exercise. So on Thursday and Friday I began doing Tennis which has been interesting.  The first day was okay as I only played for half an hour I think, but the next day was great but hell when i woke up the next day. I played from 8:15-11:00am with only a 5min break i think. So I will be going again today Sunday 26th and see what happens as my body is killing me especially my hand :( I so need a full body massage!!!

So the pain has been hitting me hard  and I could not exercise so I have just been resting. I plan to resume on Monday as I tried exercising the other day and it just made it worse.

Achieving my DREAMS!!!

Well since the Olympic Games 2012 begun I have watched and I am inspired. Watching all these (some) young people achieve their dreams or come close and compete in the games motivated me to fight harder to achieve my dreams.

I do believe sometimes you have to be a little selfish when it comes to your dreams and your happiness as nobody is looking out for you more than you. In years past I have always know what I wanted but have not pushed hard enough to get it and have put others before myself which was a mistake.

Having a POSITIVE Network of People

Now this is extremely important if you are going to achieve in life. Positive people will be friends who will encourage, give you positive criticism, uplift you and most of all they want whats best for you. If you have 40 so called friends and only 5 are positive people in your life the you don't necessarily need the 35 additional ones in you inner circle. On the way to the top you may have to let some people go if you do nothing for your life as that is just dead weight.

I was reading an article on the ESSENCE Magazine website with an interview with actress Lisa Raye and she said "I'm friends of none and associates of everybody. I've learned to appreciate people being in my life for a reason and a season."



You would think being in Hollywood and being as successful as she is she would have many friends but she doesn't and realizes key distinctions in the categories of people around her. I have always put people into these groups and their definitions, which may be different for various people.

FAMILY -
These are the most important people, they include all my family immediate an extended. The intermediate family is the most important people and your main support.
CLOSE FRIENDS -
These are the family you pick for yourself and these people should be chosen carefully. In my case I do not have many of these but I believe it 's better to have one true friend than 20 fake ones.

BUSINESS PEOPLE - 
These people are very important as they are my connections to achieving my dreams. These people I call about business related things and are high on the list because my relationship with them is VITAL.
ACQUAINTANCES - 
These are just people you know
FACEBOOK FRIENDS/
 These are just people (some friends and family) you know, who you use this network to keep in touch with.
SUBSCRIBERS/FANS - 
Very important people as they are your support and nobody supports and cheers you on better than your FANS.

Weightloss Journey Day 5

This morning I did a 40 minute walk, 20min each way to my doctors appointment. That will be all my exercise for today as my wonderful monthly gift has arrived *sarcasm*. I was afraid of this as in the past I have gotten into a good stride working out and and then my period comes and I am too tired and in pain to work out. Well I got a work out this morning so that's good anyways :)

So I just did 10mins of the first workout DVD and I'm done, stomach is hurting so i am going to leave it for today.

Weightloss Journey Day 4

So today was an indoor 40minute workout which I did in the evening with my mum. Well I am not a morning person so I just felt that I should do my workouts in the evening as that's when I have the most energy. Today I did a different workout using a different DVD. The beautiful thing about exercising is that you an take the best out of many things and make your own routine....and that's I plan to do!

OMG....I sweated so much I can't believe it. Well I think i will do this same workout tomorrow evening and maybe go play tennis on Wednesday morning with my mum, sis and grandad.......lol tha'ts if i can wake up for 7:30am :)

Weightloss Journey Day 3

So today was my day off as i do not exercise on Saturdays but seeing as i did a lot of exercise yesterday I would relax today. One day off a week to relax is good but getting back tomorrow is a must as i do not want to fall into a place of being too tired and not bothered.

So at 11pm my mum wanted to check out this exercise video she had so I did 15mins of mini 1 mile walking session  from the DVD.


Weightloss Journey - DAY 2

Olympic Park Walking!!!

Yesterday, Saturday 4th August 2012 my exercise was walking in Stratford, Westfield Shopping Center and to and through the Olympic Park. I went to see a basketball game at the Olympics, USA v Lithuania and Brazil v China. So the Olympic Park is very big and the basketball center was towards the back so it was like a 25minute walk once in the Park (power walked as we were late), probably like a 10minute walk to the park. Probably should have wore different trainers as my feet were hurting but I had a good workout out none the less.

Weightloss Journey - DAY 1

So today Friday 3rd August 2012,  I decided to begin my weight loss journey for 2012, my prayer is that I can keep it up as I like the feeling when I am fit and feeling healthy.

Sports Attire

So the right attire is important when exercising so I purchased a pair of Nike trainers which are good for comfort and support as my feet are extremely tender. I can wear any shoes and at some point my feet hurt. One thing I noticed about my feet although it is summer and it is hot my feet do not go well with sandals. Sandals (many) are flat and when walking it is like wanking on the ground leaving my feet aching and in am lot of pain there after. These trainers have a lot of cushion so are like heaven when walking and are very comfortable. Comfort is key when exercising as it makes it easier and better for your body. I was wearing leggings (black),  a black vest top and a cardigan. The leggings I found were extremely comfortable when moving around so I will likely wear them again when exercising. Only downside i find is my breast constrict me in movement, for example I want to run/jog sometimes but my breast are very large and heavy, which makes it hard sometimes. Maybe if I invest in a sports bra it make be a little better???

 DAY 1

Today I had an appointment on my local high street which is 20/30 minutes from my house so I power walked down there and ran up the the stairs to the third floor (I admit I am un-fit so I was slightly out of breath when I reached up there). I sat in my appointment for 20minutes then headed back home which took me 30mins as I stopped on the high street to get two bunches of bananas and a carton of juice. With my added load I headed home and power walked up the hill, reach home sweat dripping down my face. Well they say if your sweating and in slight pain then it's working, so it was working loads today. After resting when I got home I did some light housework and that was the end of day one.  Tomorrow is likely to be a little walking as it is Saturday and I do not exercise so hopefully pick it up again on Sunday. By writing all this down it may give me some motivation to do this and keep doing it as it is a lifestyle change.

I love ME....so F***** you...

Just like the main line in Cee Lo Green's...FORGET YOU!!!

A natural journey involves learning to love yourself if you don't already. I must say I a highly narcissistic and conceited individual to some extent.  Okay I know that is bad but I am not afraid to admit it...I LOVE ME :)  I love myself and do not need validation from a man to complete me but I do appreciate a compliment now and again like any woman. That's one thing I believe all women need to do is love themselves so they don't need validation from ANY man. It seems like a lot of young women are not told that they are beautiful by their fathers or people in their lives so the minute a man shows them some attention, or tells them they are beautiful they giggle like idiots and become stupid. Love is blind just like the song by rapper Eve, "and it will take over your mind, what you think is love it truly not you need to elevate and find!" Seriously think women need to know this song as it is great. But when you love yourself truly and want whats best for you you will not be blinded by love...trust me.

So I'm a single lady, I'm not looking for anybody really but I am open to the right person if they come along. I am a open person but when  it come to my heart and love I am slightly guarded like most people out of the fear of getting hurt. Nobody willing wants to get hurt when it comes to relationships and love but it's a possibility. Love/ Relationships are not guaranteed so when you meet someone you put your self out there in hopes that you will have a good outcome, but even then sometimes you get burned. So my heart is guarded like Fort Knox ain't nobody getting in there without a whole lot of work and the key as I for one do not like getting hurt.

What's wrong with me?  

What seems to keep happening is that we hang out and everything is going great and then they go MIA. And then to take the piss some of them see me and wanna say hello, wave or have a conversation. WTF....were you not the one behaving like a child and now you wanna chat...F**K YOU...oh..oh...oh. I just always wondered as its the same with boyfriends once they become ex's they miss you and want you back (some). What they had to lose me before they realized that they wanted me? FORGET YOU!!! 

 

Shit I look great and I'm a wonderful woman so it's their loss :) Yes I said it you lost all of this!!!







So to all you men who cannot appreciate a good woman, the ones who could not appreciate me "F**K YOU".
